00:08he expects major improvement from the Giants after last year.

00:12So of course, what did they do, Joe?

00:14They ran to Joe Shane and said, the owner expects massive improvement.

00:17What does that mean?

00:18John Mara talked earlier to us in camp.

00:20He said, you know, I want to see significant improvement.

00:22So what, how do you measure that?

00:23What does that look like to you this season?

00:25You guys, you guys asked him, you guys had a chance to talk to him.

00:27That's it.

00:28That's significant improvement.

00:29So you guys talked to the most important person.

00:32What does that mean to you?

00:34Yeah, again, we don't, Dave's not going to approach this job without not saying we want

00:38to go out and win.

00:39I mean, that's, that's what we're here for.

00:41That's why we work our tails off.

00:42That's why we're here all night last night doing the waiver cut down.

00:45You know, that's why we're out all spring on pro days.

00:47That's why we do all the work not to come up here and not win games.

00:52So that's, that's always going to be the goal.

00:54I mean, I don't understand, you know, I, you know, I get the question, but the goal is

00:59to win games.

01:01It seems like he didn't really want to answer it, Joe.

01:04It seems like he didn't, he wasn't really thrilled with the, with the question.

01:08But it is a significant question because, you know, that's a team that's put themselves

01:12out there by doing that dopey show where they ran around and watched him on the phone with

01:17Saquon Barclay and watched his head coach gushing over quarterbacks that they didn't

01:22draft and doing, I mean, they did all that Joe.

01:26So, and the owner, you could tell, wasn't happy about the Barclay thing.

01:30So he better do well.

01:31Cause that could be the guy that gets chopped.

01:33Maybe they both get chopped.

01:34Things go bad again this year.

01:37How does it get any better when you made the decision to invest in Danny?

01:42I don't know how this gets any better anytime soon here.

01:45I mean, that's the problem it can, and in the worst market in the world to be that terrible

01:53and especially if the Jets win games and especially when you have a guy sitting out there as old

02:01as he is, and you know, if there's one team he always has wanted to coach in the NFL,

02:07it's the New York giants.

02:08And that's bill Belichick sitting out there.

02:11You know, his love for that franchise, you know, he would do it in a heartbeat.

02:15There's a lot of pressure on those two guys.
