A mum lets her kids spend up to 10 hours a day on screens and says parents shouldn't feel guilty about it.

00:00my son spent about 10 hours on screens yesterday he mixed things up a bit and went from the tv to

00:05the switch to the tablet and he did have a friend over who joined him on the switch and the tablet

00:10but yeah he spent about 10 hours just playing on screens and i'm not mad about it and to be honest

00:16he will probably do the same today because we had a full day out on monday another full day out on

00:21tuesday and i've got to do and as much as i would love him to go outside and play it's bloody hot

00:27so i don't blame him for wanting to stay in and just chilling out and yes he could be doing some

00:31crafting or some drawing or playing board games but it's his school holiday and if he wants to

00:36chill out on screens who am i to argue i'm all for making school holidays fun and making sure that

00:41they experience new things and have memories and they can get back to school and say oh we did this

00:46and we did that but it doesn't have to be every day we have six weeks to fill and i don't see

00:51anything wrong with a few of those weeks being really chill but i have to drag him along with

00:56me today because i've got a few errands to do a few things to pick up but i might get a mcdonald's

01:02just for a little treat so it's something's happened today that's exciting for him he is

01:06seven after all but that's as exciting as today is gonna get and that's okay we'll go out tomorrow
