00:00The story was told to me by my friend in 2007-2008, when I was working in a company.

00:11His name is Animesh Verma, and this is his story.

00:14Before that, I grew up in Delhi, and the theme of migration always bothered me.

00:20People around me, who go to meet their children once a year, they see them growing up like this.

00:26In my house, my grandfather was also like this.

00:28My family used to live in Rajasthan.

00:30He went to Assam when he was 12 years old.

00:33Then he came to get married, and then went back.

00:35He used to come every year.

00:36So, I always found it a little strange, when I was young.

00:40At that time, I didn't understand much, but I always found it strange.

00:43So, when Animesh told me this story, I said, man, this should be made.

00:47After that, the story went on, but coming and making it is a very different thing.

00:54So, after that, I was very lucky, I met a lot of people.

00:59So, first of all, I have a friend, Hardik Gajjar, who is also a co-producer on this film, with Savio.

01:05He is the producer of Jio Studios.

01:07So, Hardik said that whenever you make this film, I will produce it.

01:11Then I met Savio.

01:13Savio also said that when you make it, I will produce it.

01:15So, both of them produced this film together.

01:17And in the meantime, I met a writer by the name of Pankaj.

01:22So, he wrote the screenplay and the dialogue together.

01:24And when we were very lucky, two things happened.

01:27One, we got Amit, and the other, we got Jio Studios.

01:30So, when Amit said yes, we felt that we have put the film on a strong shoulder.

01:36So, a big responsibility left my shoulders and went on his shoulders.

01:40And secondly, I would like to say one more thing.

01:42Secondly, you will see that this kind of film comes very little from the studios.

01:47So, when Jio Studios approved this film, it was a big thing for us.

01:51That a studio is making this kind of film for us.

02:45Mostly, it's just a matter of explaining a vision.

02:47And he was very quick.

02:48I think he understood a lot after reading the script.

02:51And then slowly, he started taking things from there.
