00:13a Russian platoon base being hit in Kursk.
00:17He said the attack with GBU-39 bombs, which was supplied by the United States, resulted
00:22in Russian casualties and the destruction of equipment.
00:25Many of Ukraine's international allies oppose the country using donated weapons for anything
00:30but defensive purposes.
00:32However, Ukraine has argued that its Kursk incursion is essentially defensive and aimed
00:37at creating a buffer zone to minimize attacks on Ukrainian soil.
00:42Meanwhile, the United States has imposed a fresh round of sanctions on more than 400
00:47entities and individuals for supporting Russia's war effort.
00:51That includes sanctions on Chinese companies that American officials believe are helping
00:55Moscow skirt Western sanctions and build up its military.
