00:00:17and gale-force winds crush a tree through the alligator's feet.
00:00:22Join me at my home for the fun, the danger,
00:00:25and the real-life drama behind the scenes at Australia Zoo.
00:00:30Go!

00:00:51Reticulated pythons are notoriously aggressive.
00:00:54I guess one of the reasons is because they grow so large
00:00:58that they have been known to kill and eat people.
00:01:02Now, our girl's all scarred up.
00:01:04She's got big steel staples.
00:01:06The only way that we feel safe enough
00:01:09that we'll be able to remove those staples
00:01:11is if we get something in her head,
00:01:13something to occupy those huge, great recurved teeth.
00:01:17A food source.
00:01:18Let's jam that in her head
00:01:20before we even think about working on those staples.
00:01:23First, I have to trick the snake into thinking
00:01:26that a frozen food source is a lie.
00:01:30Pythons can constrict their food.
00:01:33They get around the chest cavity,
00:01:36and you can see the power, the strength of those coils
00:01:40just squeezing around the chest cavity.
00:01:42So as I wiggle it, she constricts, thinking she's actually killed it.
00:01:46And when she's satisfied it's dead,
00:01:48she works her head over the top of the prey's head.
00:01:52The trap is designed to consume something 10 times her own head size.
00:02:02This best mate Wes is here to help me get the staples out.
00:02:06It's all going according to plan.
00:02:08We peel off a bit of skin shed
00:02:10waiting for her to get the food source
00:02:12down to the point of no return
00:02:14where she can't regurgitate it.
00:02:16The food source has got to keep her mouth occupied
00:02:19while we get the staples out.
00:02:22She doesn't like that.
00:02:32She's agitated, but she can't bite.
00:02:35Her mouth's completely full of food
00:02:37and she can't swing around and strike either.
00:02:40This is the only way we can perform this operation without an ascetic.
00:02:45She doesn't like it one bit,
00:02:47but there's nothing she can do about it
00:02:49If we can slow that food down as fast as she can
00:02:52then her mouth will be free to bite.
00:02:54It's for her own good.
00:03:09With the food almost gone, we're running out of time.
00:03:12All the staples are out.
00:03:14Now it's just the sutures left.
00:03:18We're close to finish.
00:03:20Terry, Wes and I are sweating bullets.
00:03:22There's only a few inches to go
00:03:24and then she's fully loaded, ready to bite.
00:03:28Come on Steve-O, get them.
00:03:32Wes tries his hardest to stop those coils wrapping around my hand.
00:03:37Very powerful.
00:03:46Last stitch, just got to pull it up.
00:03:49Watch it.
00:03:50She's completely eaten the food source.
00:03:52We're finished.
00:03:54Jodie and Kelsey are bringing in three new arrivals,
00:03:57tiny Australian marsupials to form a new family group.
00:04:02Yep, put your bag through.
00:04:05Yeah, we grabbed them a bit quick there.
00:04:09Sorry sweetheart, hating us here.
00:04:13Out you come.
00:04:15Now these three little girls are absolutely drop-dead gorgeous
00:04:20and quick on their feet too.
00:04:26Number two, now we point the bag at another treat.
00:04:29In theory, Casper.
00:04:32Hey sweetie.
00:04:43She's like, where the heck am I?
00:04:45Very confused.
00:04:47And here's what happens when they can't spot a treat.
00:04:50No, don't climb up on me.
00:04:52Sorry about that.
00:04:54There you go.
00:04:55That must be Casper.
00:04:56Yeah.
00:04:57There you go Casper.
00:04:58Yeah.
00:04:59Want to go over there?
00:05:03Come along here.
00:05:05They're kind of a little bit bewildered.
00:05:07Let's jump out and let them settle in
00:05:10and we'll take them over and do the proper introduction with two socks
00:05:15and hopefully he will have centered nicely in there tonight
00:05:18and they'll be a little bit more at ease with him coming into their colony.
00:05:22We'll just have to see how it goes because he's a lot smaller than them.
00:05:26Done for good.
00:05:27All right.
00:05:28Let's do it.
00:05:36At Australia Zoo, part of our commitment to community service
00:05:39includes educating children about wildlife.
00:05:42Not just the cute and cuddly ones,
00:05:44but also wildlife that they may have considered a little bit scary.
00:05:49Kelly is about to give the kids at this school the thrill of their lives.
00:05:53If we can get them excited about reptiles,
00:05:56they'll grow up wanting to make sure they're protected.
00:05:59The first thing I want to ask is who here likes snakes?

00:08:24Australia is certainly the land of the most venomous snakes in the world and the biggest
00:08:29crocodile.
00:08:30Pretty soon you'll be zooming around and you'll see all my big crocs that I caught out of the
00:08:35bush and this guy's mum and dad I caught them out of the bush.
00:08:39It's because people feel fear, which is a good thing.
00:08:42It's what keeps us alive and it's what's going to push you in the pool to win.
00:08:47Woo!
00:08:48That's the fear snake.
00:08:52Woo!
00:08:55All my team are bringing these animals around.
00:08:57Just go for it.
00:08:58Just dive your head straight in there.
00:09:01Seriously, except for the camels, watch out for her feet because she can sideways kick.
00:09:06Really good at those boots.
00:09:08But everything else, you can just kick them and do whatever you like.
00:09:11Please do.
00:09:12It makes us real proud to be able to give this hard training sports team some fun and stevo
00:09:18education to take back home with them.
00:09:26That was a good one.
00:09:28Is there a really long one in there?
00:09:29Yeah, that one.
00:09:30Really long?
00:09:31That's a lot.
00:09:32That's a lot.
00:09:33That's a lot.
00:09:34That's a lot.

00:09:45Woo!
00:09:46Woo!
00:09:47Woo!
00:09:48That's so many red carps, man!
00:09:49I reckon they'll all be telling their grandchildren about this experience.
00:09:52And hopefully they'll all leave Australia with a better understanding and appreciation of our native wildlife.
00:09:59This is really, highly dangerous skelton, boys.
00:10:02I wouldn't do this at home.
00:10:04Never try it in your backyard.
00:10:06They say that parity is a great sign of flattery.
00:10:09But honestly, I think these girls should stick to the game they know best.
00:10:13Sometimes it's hard work being a crocodile hunter.
00:10:16Mind you, it's easy work when it's the women's water polo team.
00:10:47One, two, three, Crocodile!
00:10:51Still to come in Croc Diaries.
00:10:53Check out the size of this sheila.
00:10:55She could kill Wes at one end and another bloke at the other end.
00:11:04Don't go away, there's more Crocodile Hunter Diaries here on Animal Planet.
00:11:09Dig out for the top ten most extreme gluttons.
00:11:12Dine with the hungriest eating machines.
00:11:14Wait till you see how much they chomp, chew and chow
00:11:16on the next episode of Animal Planet's The Most Extreme.
00:11:20Sunday at 8, only on Animal Planet.

00:12:13New Max Versatility Plus is Kodak's most versatile film ever.
00:12:17It even works in fast action.
00:12:25While other films may blur, you get crystal clear pictures more often with Versatility Plus.
00:12:31I should have tried your Kodak film.
00:12:35People talk about cat years.
00:12:45How cats age seven times faster than we do.
00:12:48But you can reduce an effective aging on your cat by feeding him IMES every day.
00:12:54IMES active maturity will help return his immune system to that of a younger cat, so you can forget about cat years and start thinking in IMES years.
00:13:05IMES. Good for life.
00:13:09Something wicked is coming to Animal Planet.
00:13:12Wicked, funny, Animal Pranksters.
00:13:15Reggie Gaskins is primed, pumped and prepared with an arsenal of hilarious animal pranks.
00:13:20He'll try to trick you.
00:13:21Would you consider yourself closer to the primate species or human species?
00:13:25He'll try to confuse you.
00:13:26I said no pranks.
00:13:28But there's no question he's going to get you.
00:13:32Animal Pranksters.
00:13:33You only prank the ones you love.
00:13:36Tuesday at 9.
00:13:37Only on Animal Planet.
00:13:39Now, back to the crocodile how to dive.
00:13:42It's time to introduce the three new female sugar gliders to our male, a little bloke called Tusok.
00:13:49He's always been really affectionate, and we're worried that the new girls might start to dominate him three against one.
00:13:57That little spot on his head is a scent gland, and we're going to try and rub him on the girls as a kind of formal introduction.
00:14:04That's if we can stop him cleaning on to Jodi for long enough.
00:14:09We're going to rub him together.
00:14:15Oh, oh, oh.
00:14:16Hey, Billy.
00:14:17Hey.
00:14:18You don't bite.
00:14:19You don't bite.
00:14:20Well, that wasn't expected.
00:14:22No, here we were freaking out about them biting.
00:14:27Let's just try not putting his head near them.
00:14:38Let's put him in a bag.
00:14:40Hmm.
00:14:41Sorry, girl.
00:14:42You know I'm sleepy and everything.
00:14:47Okay.
00:14:48Let's just...
00:14:49Can we get his back end more than his front end?
00:14:52Because he'll just bite.
00:14:54Rub his scent gland and stuff in.
00:14:58I don't think this is going to work.
00:15:01He's not being very sociable at all.
00:15:04I don't think this is going to work.
00:15:05I don't think it is either.
00:15:09Stress is something that causes complications in animals all the time.
00:15:14Our huge big reticulated python is having a bad skin shed as a result of stress.
00:15:19Now, we can't go in there and just pick it all off.
00:15:22There's too much.
00:15:23She's well over 20 feet in length and pretty aggressive.
00:15:26So, Wes comes up with a very good innovation.
00:15:29It's all about getting our big girl into a bathtub.
00:15:33Wes is hoping a warm bath will loosen her skin enough to help her shed.
00:15:38Normally, a snake will shed its skin as one whole piece
00:15:42by squeezing its body through a fork in a tree or similar tight area.
00:15:46Because of her injuries and the trauma of the operation,
00:15:49this girl has not been able to shed in her normal manner.
00:15:55Warm water may just do the trick,
00:15:57allowing the old layer of skin to soak and absorb moisture,
00:16:01making it easier for her to rub it off.
00:16:03Naturally, we'll do everything to help her,
00:16:05even if it means picking off every bit of dead skin ourselves, piece by piece.
00:16:11Wes and the crew are hoping that putting the bath under the bench
00:16:14will cut off one escape route for the python.
00:16:33No!
00:16:36No!
00:16:39Because she's so huge and potentially dangerous,
00:16:42this part of the move needs some experienced backup handlers
00:16:45standing by just in case she grabs a hold of Wes.
00:16:50Check out the size of this sheila.
00:16:52She could kill Wes at one end and another bloke at the other end.
00:16:57And of course, she's not co-operating
00:16:59and heads straight to the other end looking for a way out.
00:17:02And even though the bench is close to the bath,
00:17:04there's enough space for her to just lift her head and slide away.
00:17:13When there's a shedding problem like this,
00:17:15she runs the risk of developing skin disease,
00:17:18so we can't leave a situation like this go unattended.
00:17:22No matter how tough or dangerous, we always put the animals first.
00:17:33At least she's testing the water this time.
00:17:35But no, she decides she doesn't want to stay
00:17:38and it's time for a new tactic.
00:17:42We'll try to cut off her escape route out of the box.
00:17:46These pythons are ambush predators,
00:17:49so even though she's big enough to fight Wes off, she doesn't.
00:17:52Everything about her behaviour is non-aggressive.
00:17:55It's self-defence.
00:18:03MUSIC
00:18:09This time it's working.
00:18:11She's going in and hopefully the skin will come away easily
00:18:14after a good soaking in some warm water.
00:18:18Oh, yeah, boy.
00:18:31She seems to have calmed down now and it's working perfectly.
00:18:35The old layer of skin is slipping off just how nature intended.
00:18:41Meanwhile, we're expecting another group of Olympic athletes.
00:18:48The wrangling is going to be getting everybody around Murray
00:18:51so that everyone can see because there'll be general public there as well.
00:18:55We should get them to the Dingo Diner.
00:18:57Get them lots of pies, hot dogs, free food.
00:19:02We're great for the American team. We want them to win.
00:19:05No, we don't.
00:19:08We win gold, gold, gold. God bless America.
00:19:14Everybody, we're going to move straight through the zoo to get down
00:19:17so that we can meet Steve and see all the exciting stuff
00:19:20because it's a long way and we'll get lost
00:19:22and it would just be better to get down there
00:19:24and start having some fun. What do you reckon?
00:19:26Yeah!
00:19:33And here's what they reckon was the highlight.
00:19:36Steve doing a demonstration with the saltwater crocodile.
00:19:50We keep Murray in a clear pond
00:19:52just like the clear river he came from
00:19:54so visitors can see how he behaves underwater.
00:19:57A great demonstration of his speed and agility.

00:22:34If you like a fresher house, don't sit around and growl.
00:22:37If you like a fresher house, raise your paw.
00:22:40For a fresher house, all you need is a little paw power and fresh step cat litter.
00:22:44Every time your cat uses the litter box,
00:22:46he activates fresheners that neutralize odors better than the leading litter
00:22:49and leave a light, fresh scent.
00:22:51More freshness, we agree. Freshness, good as it can be.
00:22:54Now you've got a fresher house. Take a break.

00:24:05So call now to enjoy the Sunday New York Times
00:24:07for eight weeks with home delivery at 50% off.
00:24:10Hi, I'd like to start getting the Sunday New York Times at home.
00:24:13I think the only thing I enjoy more than doing the crossword puzzle
00:24:16is actually finishing it.
00:24:18Call now, 1-800-961-4448,
00:24:21and get the Sunday New York Times delivered to your home every weekend.
00:24:25For me, Sunday was made for the New York Times.
00:24:28Now, back to the Crocodile Hunter Diaries.
00:24:32Our sugar glider, Two Socks, is a boy desperately in need of meeting a girl.
00:24:37So we've gotten three for him.
00:24:40Now, the first two attempts at mating didn't go well.
00:24:43Two Socks was busy fighting them instead of courting them.
00:24:47So now it's his third chance.
00:24:50Will it be strike three, or will he get it together?
00:24:53Is that actually love that he's trying to make, or war?
00:24:57Stick around and find out.
00:24:59We were hoping that Two Socks would rub his scent gland all over the girls,
00:25:03but he's decided that Kelsey should get the treatment and not the female sugar glider.
00:25:23Now that Kelsey's been well and truly initiated into the glider family,
00:25:27it's time to try him on the real thing.
00:25:51Sugar gliders are very territorial.
00:25:54It's okay if you belong to the same family group,
00:25:57but outsiders mean a serious challenge.
00:26:00This is Two Socks' territory, and he's off looking for the females again.
00:26:05Looks like meeting up in a hollow log means all heck is broken loose.
00:26:09This doesn't sound like harmony.
00:26:13Once again, it hasn't worked.
00:26:16The plus side is that tiny Two Socks feels big and tough.
00:26:20He's successfully defended his territory and celebrates with a good meal.
00:26:29The summer monsoons here, cyclone season.
00:26:32Big turbulent weather and storms.
00:26:34And we've had a lot of rain this year,
00:26:36and we've had a lot of rain this year,
00:26:39cyclone season, big turbulent weather and storms.
00:26:42And we've already got an emergency in the gators.
00:26:59Yeah, go ahead, mate.
00:27:09Oh, copy that. How about the gator? Is the gator all right?
00:27:16Hey, Brian!
00:27:18Right, you got a minute?
00:27:22Hey, Brian, we've got a large tree down in the alligators.
00:27:25Can you grab Fred, Chainsaw and whatever team you need?
00:27:28Probably need gloves, they're pretty spiked.
00:27:30Mitch, over there.
00:27:32Yeah, where's... I'm on my way, mate.
00:27:36Two big problems, the safety of the alligator and the security fence.
00:27:41Whoa!
00:27:49Little bit of wind?
00:27:51Little bit of wind, mate. It's like a cyclone.
00:27:53I tell you what, that's a big, big up in that fence there.
00:27:57The gale-force winds have caused damage right around Australia Zoo,
00:28:01and we have to double-check everything.
00:28:04Someone round the perimeter fence too, please, mate.
00:28:07We might check the alligator out before we do anything, Brian.
00:28:10Righty-o.
00:28:11Bit windy, isn't it?
00:28:13Hey, naughty!
00:28:15I see your tail wiggling. I see your tail wiggling.
00:28:18I see your tail wiggling. I see your tail wiggling.
00:28:22She, um...
00:28:24She's got a little bit of bark right here, Brian.
00:28:28Nah, made no difference to her. Puffer!
00:28:31She's not hurt, but listen to that hissing.
00:28:34She's one cranky sheila.
00:28:36Um, you guys got a beat on this?
00:28:38Yeah, mate.
00:28:39I might rattle around and check a few more fences and stuff.
00:28:42We've got a power line down as well.
00:28:44Lovely.
00:28:46All right?
00:28:47All right, mate.
00:28:48Good on you, Ben.
00:28:49Everything's under control for now,
00:28:50but this is just a small taste of a major disaster
00:28:53about to come down on us like a ton of bricks.
00:28:57Still to come in Croc Diaries,
00:28:59the wet season hits us like never before.
00:29:03Our baby koala, Button, escapes the flood and needs to be rescued.

00:32:19Hi, I'd like to start getting the Sunday New York Times at home.
00:32:22I think the only thing I enjoy more than doing the crossword puzzles is actually finishing them.
00:32:27Call now, 1-800-961-4448, and get the Sunday New York Times delivered to your home every weekend.
00:32:34For me, Sunday was made for the New York Times.
00:32:37Now, back to the Crocodile Hunter dial.
00:32:40It's belting down, and we've never seen rain like this at Australia Zoo ever before.
00:32:47We do have an annual wet season, and some of them get pretty intense.
00:32:51But no one can remember this much rain in a short period of time.
00:32:55It's just going off.
00:32:57The creeks are raging torrents, some of the roads are cut, and the water's building up at an incredible rate.
00:33:06Is that flood water, baby?
00:33:08Baby Bindi's fascinating, and the kangaroos are looking confused.
00:33:12But it's great weather for ducks and crocodiles.
00:33:16With so much extra water to move around in, they think it's heaven.
00:33:21Pretty soon you get used to torrential rain.
00:33:24It's always wet, and the crocodiles and alligators, they love it.
00:33:29Daisy, the little naughty one, she's dug a den right underneath her nest site.
00:33:35Gonna have to try and get her out so we can fill it in.
00:33:37This is exactly what alligators do in the wild.
00:33:40Dig a den deep into a riverbank.
00:33:43Hello, Daisy.
00:33:45You little mud maker.
00:33:48Come on out of there.
00:33:52You've made a mess.
00:33:54You've made a big mess, haven't you, Daisy?
00:33:57It's only in heavy rain that the ground is soft enough for Daisy to dig out a proper alligator den.
00:34:03And she's become really possessive and hard to stop.
00:34:13She loves her new den, but we can't let her keep it.
00:34:16It could collapse on top of her, undermine the fence, or cause some problem to the pond.
00:34:25Yeah, watch her.
00:34:29She's coming now.
00:34:31Rhino discovers that Daisy's underwater excavation has destabilised the trees around her nesting location,
00:34:38and the den already goes halfway back to the fence line.
00:34:42We're gonna have to stop it.
00:34:44Come back here, Rhino.
00:34:46Come on.
00:34:50Come on, take this way.
00:34:52Take this way.
00:34:54Come on.
00:35:02Rhino keeps provoking her so she'll defend her territory,
00:35:06and the most precious part of Daisy's home is her pond.
00:35:10She's just loving it.
00:35:16Come on, Daisy. Come on.
00:35:18Come on, up here.
00:35:24Come on.
00:35:26There's a good, that's a good girl.
00:35:33Even though she's back in the pool, we know that Daisy is totally obsessed with her own muddy creation,
00:35:39so Brian's got only seconds to check the fences for breaks.
00:35:45Sure enough, as soon as she thinks Brian's gonna stay out of the pond, she heads back to the den.
00:35:51That's one job that's gonna have to wait until after the flood waters.
00:36:02There's no stopping her now. The rain's just bucketing down, getting heavier and heavier and heavier.
00:36:08We've got to look at every single place we've ever had a weakness, and beyond that.
00:36:14We have to be so vigilant, because floods are one of the most powerful forces on earth.
00:36:22Wherever you see leaves build up on fence lines, pull it off.
00:36:32Yeah, so this one's, just let the water flow through. Don't panic too much.
00:36:37So see where those leaves are building up there, and see, like they're building up there too.
00:36:42Once you get one load out, you just have to constantly keep an eye on it.
00:36:53Oh yeah, and you've got all the debris out of the croc fences.
00:36:56There's nothing more stimulating for crocodilians than heavy rain.
00:37:01It signals the start of the wet season, the most action-packed time of the year in crocodile society.
00:37:08The intensity of the wet varies from year to year in Queensland, and we're used to dealing with floods every single year, bar none.
00:37:19The edge of the world has been out, and the garage went under two inches from out here, down over to the tram stop, just one sheet of water.
00:37:30That's right, it's just the whole thing. There's no sign of the road, this whole thing just goes on.
00:37:38Yeah, 1974 flood, and then we got another one in 1991.
00:37:43It was when Dad built the park, it started in 1970.
00:37:48Well in 1974 we had the biggest flood in history, and so he's gone, right, here's my level, I'll work out from here.
00:37:57By reading in the paper that we're going to get a bigger one than that.
00:38:04Female saltwater crocodiles are born with this uncanny instinct of being able to predict just how wet it's going to get.
00:38:11Now Molly has already run out of land, so it's up to us to provide her with more material so she can build her nest up out of the flood water.
00:38:22Everything Molly collected to build her nest has been washed away, and she's almost ready to lay her eggs.
00:38:29So she's got a belly full of eggs, hasn't she? She won't hide around the nest, don't you reckon?
00:38:34Yep.
00:38:36Well she does it, I reckon, every year, just before she lays, she gets a bit out of sorts, and she goes laps, and falls over a couple of them, and they all come to her rear nest.
00:38:47I think you need to grab Toby, Andrew, go and get a load of nesting material and get it in here now and mound it right up.
00:38:56She knows what she needs.
00:39:00She's got to lay her eggs as soon as they're ready to drop, so we're going to have to get everything sorted for her nest as quick as possible.
00:39:07We're throwing in a mixture of leaf litter and bins full of vegetation, branches, sticks, leaves, all the natural materials that will rot down and create heat for a perfect nest site.
00:39:19If she can't build a nest, she won't lay, and the eggs might be safely reabsorbed, or they can rot inside her body and cause her death.
00:39:28In the wild, Molly would just have to use another nest site, but here, we actually have to create a perfect nest site for her above the floodwaters.
00:39:38She knows how high she's got to lay them, we've just got to get her the material.
00:39:43Here's a great sign. Molly decides she already owns the nest site, and she gives us a warning, and we'll defend it.
00:39:54Boy, she looks happy there.
00:39:55Yeah, she does, doesn't she?
00:39:56Yeah, she does, doesn't she?
00:39:57Is that a recent bite in the fence, or?
00:39:58No, that was last year.
00:40:00Great.
00:40:01Alright, well when she comes off that, let's get another, let's fill all six of these up.
00:40:09I think maybe one of us could go around, I could go around and let my managers talk to her, like someone else chipped his leaf over near that kicker man and Alex.
00:40:17What do you want, Steve?
00:40:19Righto.
00:40:20Get a bit of firing on her.
00:40:22Yeah, is she attacked?
00:40:23Why's her mouth open?
00:40:24She attacked me, and I went and chipped it over.
00:40:26Well, that's good, that's real good.
00:40:28She upped me twice.
00:40:29Well, anything's better than a work in the fences. She's just going to wear her nose off, break her teeth and get really, really sore.
00:40:36Yeah.
00:40:37Okay, let's go for it then.
00:40:39Can you take Murray?
00:40:40Yeah, I'll just put him there.
00:40:41Yeah, toss him out, grab the barricade.
00:40:44Leave this up, just leave all this.
00:40:46Molly's been incredibly cranky ever since her first nest disappeared under the floodwaters.
00:40:52She's been hitting and biting at the fence in frustration while she tries to find a new place and new materials for her nest.
00:41:00Other animals like leaf litter as well, and here's a cute little creature that's burrowed into the heap.
00:41:09Beautiful.
00:41:10Wow.
00:41:11What are those varroa skinks?
00:41:13Yeah, it's a legless lizard.
00:41:15Hey, look at him.
00:41:17Hey, hey.
00:41:20He's got fangs, kill him.
00:41:22Wait until he gets bitten, then you'll be worried.
00:41:24Yeah.
00:41:26This is a really stressful time for Molly, and we don't want to add to that by mucking around her territory for too long.
00:41:35Okay, we want to be careful. Murray's on us.
00:41:39We call him Mean Murray, and Molly is his special girl.
00:41:44He loves her so much that he'll protect her with every ounce of aggression he's got.
00:41:51To cut down the time in her territory, we're dropping all the nest material in at once.
00:41:56Female crocodiles prepare for laying for weeks.
00:42:00They gather up mud and litter from wherever they can get it.
00:42:03So we're giving her a full prefabricated nest kit that she can knock up into shape in one afternoon.
00:42:10All right, that's it, let's bolt.
00:42:13She's happy.
00:42:14You reckon?
00:42:15Yeah, I reckon she's happy.
00:42:17Croc in nest material.
00:42:19Still to come in Croc Diaries.
00:42:29Don't go away, there's more Crocodile Hunter Diaries here on Animal Planet.
00:42:34Monday on Animal Planet, it's an all new Animal Precinct.
00:42:38They thought they had seen it all.
00:42:40The pups are still there, right?
00:42:41They're still alive.
00:42:42Okay, we're on the way.
00:42:43Now something so inhumane.
00:42:45Oh, boy.
