00:15who named him as one of the 11 defendants.
00:19On August 15, Mat Zaki, along with three others,
00:23filed a lawsuit to claim compensation of RM100 million from 11 defendants,
00:28including former S-Kom chief of police, Astrid Sani, Abdullah Sani, and Ruzdi.
00:34The lawsuit was filed because they claimed to be forced to face a false charge in court
00:39over the accusation of killing a call-up supervisor in Tawau last January.
00:45According to the statement, Mat Zaki, 59, said the criminal case against him and three other plaintiffs
00:51were on social media, defaming their good name and reputation.
00:57Last January, the Tawau High Court released and released Mat Zaki from the charges of
01:03killing Nurman Bakaratu, 61, on Jalan Anjur, Juara, Batu 5, Jalan Apas,
01:08at around 8 pm on 13 January last year.
