00:00Health and food assistance into Gaza now.
00:03Thank you, Joe.
00:07Thank you, Joe.
00:08Thank you, Joe.
00:10Thank you, Joe.
00:12Justice Lindsey Chiu.
00:14Because we wanted to send a message that we don't agree with what Biden has been doing.
00:22And he has been funding genocide of the Palestinian people for 10 months now.
00:29And to be quite honest with you, we knew we had to do something because the people of Gaza need us to amplify their voices.
00:39The fact is he has been a president that has supported a genocide that Israel is committing.
00:46He has been unconditional with his support. He has had no moral red line.
00:51He has ignored U.S. laws. He has ignored international laws.
00:56And so I do believe that the way that he has allowed Israel to massacre the Palestinians is a stain on his public service record.
01:05My vote is not secure. I feel very comfortable saying that.
01:08I recognize, you know, as I said, over 80% of Democrats agree with me.
01:12Everybody comes here and sees my keffiyeh and they say, we support you. We support your message.
01:17And so it's now the responsibility of our elected officials, right now President Biden and Vice President Harris, to listen to all of us.
01:25Everybody here is in agreement. We don't want to continue killing babies.
01:30We don't want to continue killing women. And so we need them to listen to us.
01:35I think that the party needed change.
01:38I don't feel sad about someone who has unapologetically supported a genocidal regime in Israel.
01:44Who has publicly supported fascism abroad and then has said we need to defeat fascism here.
01:51I think that's hypocritical.
01:54And simultaneously, I think that Kamala Harris has shown progress on that front.
01:58So yes, I'm disappointed and I want her to move further.
02:02I know she's more empathetic than Joe Biden. I've seen that.
02:06But those words are not enough.
02:08That needs to be followed by policy.
02:10And she can adopt that in her campaign platform and advocate for it.
