00:00Vice President Sara Duterte's husband, Attorney Manas Escarpio, accused him of embezzling Php 6.8 billion in shipment in 2018.

00:11It is clear that the allegations of the former Customs Intelligence Officer, Jimmy Guban, were baseless, malicious, and untruthful.

00:20In an interview on Friday, he admitted that he was convinced by lawmakers that politics was the motive behind Guban's actions and his alliance with Congressman Paolo Duterte.

00:33He also argued that it was Guban himself who said that he was just doing his job in his statements in the affidavits submitted to the Senate Inquiry and Court of Proceedings.
