Residents in Turkey evacuate animals from forest fire-hit areas

İzmir, Turkey - August 17, 2024A massive forest fire in Izmir’s Karsiyaka district has forced the evacuation of residents and animals as flames continue to spread across the region. The fire has already led to the evacuation of 87 houses and 45 workplaces, with 16 homes reported destroyed in the Yamanlar district.
