00:00Welcome back everyone it is Amelia I hope you are fine.
00:07House of the Dragons Season 2, Episode 3, saw its first glimpse at dragon action with
00:12Bela riding Moondancer.
00:14In a thrilling scene, she catches Sir Criston Cole and Sir Gwaine Hightower out in the open,
00:19descending on them from the skies.
00:21This shows some character definition for Bela who's been relegated to the background for
00:26most of her time.
00:27In Fire and Blood, she takes after Daemon's wildness and notably doesn't listen to Rhaenyra's
00:33orders to fly high and avoid trouble.
00:35However, this scene has broader implications for House of the Dragons Season 2.
00:40Dragons have been loosed and Episode 3 is the precipice of the dance of the dragons
00:44living up to its name.
00:46Criston Cole has tried his best to keep his army below the treeline but they've now been
00:51spotted and Rhaenyra's side knows they've mobilized.
00:54Bela alerts the Blacks to the Greens' movements which moves the conflict forward as both sides
00:59must take immediate action toward war.
01:02Season 2, Episode 4 is titled, Dance of Dragons, suggesting a follow-up to the conflicts established
01:08in Episode 3.
01:09All the pieces are placed in their positions on the board with Rhaenyra and Alicent now
01:14openly accepting that war is the only way forward.
01:17Blood has already been spilled but now House of the Dragon is in position to see major
01:22forces collide with armies and dragons clashing.
01:25One of Episode 3's most shocking twists was the return of Millie Alcock as young Rhaenyra
01:31Targaryen.
01:32Before the magnificent Emma Diackie stepped into the role in late Season 1, Alcock expertly
01:37laid the foundation for Rhaenyra, portraying her in her younger years.
01:41This crucially comes after Daemon and Rhaenyra's blow-up argument in Episode 2.
01:46Upon Daemon's arrival in Harrenhal, he begins to experience delusions of his surroundings
01:51with a dreary, ancient halls fusing with his emotions following his dramatic fallout with
01:56Rhaenyra.
01:57Geeta Vasant Patel provided some insight into Daemon's narrative for the season, Daemon
02:02is incredibly emotional after their argument and his usual method of processing emotion
02:07is anger.
02:08He feels immense guilt for the role he played in murdering a child.
02:12Patel confirms that Daemon is seeing the younger version of Rhaenyra because that's the version
02:17that looked up to him, not down on him, adding,
02:19At least in my eyes, that's what it was.
02:22That's the Rhaenyra I know.
02:24Referring to how Daemon may have processed seeing her.
02:27This is the first time he's shown regret for killing, emboldened by the shame he feels
02:31for hurting Rhaenyra.
