The two candidates contesting in the Nenggiri state by-election met face to face at the polling centre at Tabika Sri Bakawali in Gua Musang on Saturday (Aug 17). They cast their ballots early in the morning after the polls opened.

20 polling stations opened at 8 a.m. on Saturday for the Nenggiri state by-election.

The Election Commission said the voter turnout as of 11 a.m. was at 40.43%.

A total of 20,259 registered voters are eligible to cast their ballots in the by-election,
