00:00In this lecture, I want to give you more of, let's say, an insight to how the structure of this course is
00:08before you start steaming ahead.
00:10So, what I hope you'll gain from this is to see the timeline of how we're actually going to help you
00:17create your decentralized
00:20application. So, let me jump into specifics about this course's structure now.
00:25So, this course is split over seven sections and contains over 40 practical lectures.
00:33I'll be introducing you to the course by sharing some
00:38theoretical examples in the short and concise sections one and two.
00:43Then I'll join you again in the final section to round off the course.
00:47Then my co-instructor Thomas will be taking you through all of the practical elements
00:53involved in actually creating your decentralized application.
00:57So, he'll be joining you from section three right through to once again section seven at the end of the course.
01:04Now, if you weren't aware,
01:06Thomas has a master's in computer science and has gained a lot of experience when it comes to Ethereum
01:14decentralized app development.
01:16So, all that he'll share with you in this course to help you complete the course project.
01:23Now, just so you're aware, at the end of every section you'll either be set a quiz or an assignment.
01:30Now, the assignments will lead you to create your decentralized application.
01:35So, it is important that you do follow them.
01:38Now, this is a highly practical boot camp style course to help you create an Ethereum based
01:44blockchain application in the shortest possible time.
01:49So, that's everything for this lecture.
01:52I just wanted to highlight the structure for the course.
01:54I look forward to seeing you in the next lecture where I need to emphasize a key point with you
02:01before moving on.
