01:11No, I think they did, but I am usually in the forefront of I want every team to be transparent

01:17However, it's probably not a good recipe to basically publicly shame Hassan Reddick like

01:22this, who has not played it down for you ever and basically doesn't owe you anything as

01:26far as a franchise goes.

01:27I think they just publicly pissed him off and probably would force him to dig his heels

01:31in even more.

01:33He started by demanding a trade.

01:34Sure.

01:35But if you really want to bridge the gap to work something out and not have him here,

01:39don't publicly tell the world basically na-na-na-poo-poo, nothing you could do about it, you better

01:43get here.

01:48Look, here's the reality that I need to know, that we all need to know, because clearly

01:52the Jets have put out a story via Conor Hughes and other reporters that they told Hassan

01:58Reddick and Joe Douglas even just said it, we're not giving you a new contract.

02:02And everything seemed to be copacetic for a while.

02:04Like Hassan understood that and he was okay with that.

02:07And then something changed, whether it's his agent getting into his ear, whether it's Hassan

02:11changing his mind, whether it's having a conversation with other players.

02:15Is that story true?

02:17That the Jets have been peddling now that, hey, we were on the same page.

02:20We were pretty consistent about the way things were going to go and you changed.

02:25We didn't change.
