00:27despite exports skyrocketing as the U.S. urged Ukraine's European allies to buy natural
00:33gas from America and not from Moscow after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
00:39Environmentalists praised the move as they feared an increase in exports is locking in
00:43potentially catastrophic planet-warming emissions.
00:47The states who opposed this argued the administration violated the U.S. Constitution and other federal
00:53laws by banning exportation of LNG to countries without a free trade agreement.
