00:00Hello, it's going to be a warm night to come with thundery downpours across the
00:04northwest and then a hot and humid day for some of us on Monday. But back to
00:09this evening, many places seeing clear skies tonight. We will start seeing some
00:13thunderstorms moving up from the south affecting parts of Wales and northern
00:17England, but the focus is going to be across a northern island as we go
00:21through the night with this heavy band of thundery showery rain moving its way
00:26north and eastwards. And then across parts of northern England and into
00:30Scotland we'll also see some thunderstorms here and we have got
00:33yellow weather warnings enforced. So we can expect some frequent lightning, some
00:38torrential downpours, some strong gusty winds as well as some hail too. Further
00:44towards the south a little bit drier though still with some cloud around but
00:47some strong wind especially along that Irish Sea. But for all of us it is going
00:53to be a warm night, uncomfortable for sleeping as well with some places
00:57struggling to drop below 20 degrees. Now as we go through Monday morning we have
01:03thunderstorms continuing to push their way north and eastwards, a heavy band of
01:07showery rain affecting western parts of Scotland during rush hour so it could be
01:11some difficult driving conditions at first thing. That all moves its way north
01:15and eastwards so for Scotland later on in the afternoon at turning a lot drier
01:20and brighter. Sunny spells across Northern Ireland too and elsewhere a
01:25largely fine day, some variable amounts of cloud but most places should stay dry
01:30but there still is the risk of some isolated thunderstorms. They may develop
01:35across central England and the south as well. But it is going to be a warm and if
01:41not hot to humid feel across the south. We've got highs here of up to 30
01:47possibly even up to 34 degrees so take care in that sunshine it's still strong
01:52with UV levels moderate to high. But further towards the north once that
01:56clears through it should be feeling a little bit fresher with highs up to 21
02:01to 23 degrees. Now as we end Monday evening that cloud and rain continues to
02:07push its way northwards, many places seeing some late evening sunshine. We may
02:11see a few showers just come in to southeastern parts of England but further
02:16towards the west another area of low pressure so turning increasingly cloudy
02:20with outbreaks of rain a first thing as we start Tuesday morning across Northern
02:25Ireland. But it should be feeling more comfortable on Tuesday morning to start
02:32the day with temperatures around 12 or 13 degrees but we do hold on to the heat
02:36further towards the south. It's still an uncomfortable night to come here with
02:41temperatures not dropping far below 17 degrees. So a warm start across the
02:47southeast but a bright start. Many places still seeing plenty of sunshine but cloud
02:52will be increasing from the south and west with outbreaks of rain pushing
02:58into Scotland and northwestern parts of England down to Wales and the southwest
03:02of England as well. Could just pep up some time over the hills. Behind that
03:07across Northern Ireland and Scotland it's a case of sunshine and showers and
03:12some strong winds as well at times. But it's going to be feeling fresher here
03:17highs over 20, 19 to 20 degrees but further towards the south like I said
03:22we're still holding on to some of that heat so still feeling very warm with
03:26highs up to 27 degrees. Now as we go further ahead into the week it's going
03:32to be staying rather changeable fresher though but we'll see outbreaks of rain
03:37and cloud moving through especially through Thursday as we get another area
03:42of low pressure and you can see a bit of a squeeze in the ice bars too so some
03:47stronger winds are expected. But for more details on the forecast make sure to hit
