On both sides, there were clear water streams, with flower vines hanging over them, and the fragrance of sandalwood was floating in the air. Someone had made a wooden bench in the forest. The traveler lay on the bench and fell into a deep sleep within moments. When the traveler woke up, he felt a blissful sensation throughout his body that he had never experienced before. When he looked up, he saw the mosque of Uni in front of him. Uni is an island in Fiji, and the new day in the world starts from this island. The sun rises every day on this island. There are a few Muslim households, and they have built a small wooden mosque on the island. To enter the hall, one has to climb wooden stairs. The traveler reached the mosque at the time of Dhuhr prayer. The congregation was already standing. There were two worshippers and an Imam. The traveler joined them. When the Imam finished the prayer, he was very happy to see the third worshipper. The first sound of “Allahu Akbar” is raised on this island. The first declaration of Allah’s greatness and majesty is made from this island, and this declaration spreads throughout the world with the sun. After the prayer, the traveler sat with the Imam. The Imam brought pineapples from inside, and the traveler sat on the mosque stairs and ate pineapples with him. The Imam’s son brought a few pieces of bread from inside. The dry pieces of bread and the fresh sweetness of the pineapple filled the traveler’s mind with bliss. The Imam explained that Uni is on the date line, and the day starts with us. Our mosque has the first Fajr Adhan and prayer in the world, and I am the first Imam to lead the first prostration to Allah in the world. The traveler kissed the Imam’s hand and asked him how many prayers are there in Islam. The Imam looked at the traveler in surprise and said, “Obviously, five.” The traveler smiled and said, “You surely know.
