00:00Alright Colin, we're here on the red carpet, tonight's the big night, how are you feeling
00:05going into tonight?
00:06Excited.
00:07It's great to be here.
00:08You know, we shot this movie two years ago and to see it finally come together like this,
00:14it's exciting.
00:15I've only seen a little bit of the movie, have you seen it yet?
00:18Not yet, I mean we're going to right this second, right?
00:21Yeah, so this is a character that I don't normally get to play, so I'm excited to be
00:26playing sort of the bad guy in this one.
00:28So I'm excited to see Charlotte and Phillip and see what we got here.
00:34I mean playing the bad guy, we gotta ask, right?
00:36How much of that is a little bit of truth, how much of it is pretend, how did you get
00:41into character?
00:42Well, you know what, as my acting teacher always says, use anything that happens in
00:46your life and put it into the character that you're playing.
00:49So you just channel all the crappy things that happen to you, whether like someone cuts
00:52you off in traffic or whatever happens to you that you just like get so frustrated and
00:58angry about.
00:59That's what's so great about acting, it's like therapy, you just get to channel all
01:02the crap that happens in your life into this character, it's any character, but specifically
01:07with this character, because my best friend, you know, in my eyes, did something that wasn't
01:16so cool, I get to get some revenge on him.
01:21Okay, so a little bit of that fire is coming from some real life experience is what I'm
01:25hearing.
01:26Yeah.
01:27So we won't be saying any names here on camera, hey, check that out, we got a lot of fans
01:32here.
01:33Speaking of fans, walk our audience through a little bit of a behind the scenes into making
01:36the film.
01:37What's something that they might not know went down?
01:39So the cool thing about this movie was we got to shoot in the Canary Islands, which
01:43are these islands just off the coast of Africa.
01:46And to be there for three weeks was absolutely a dream come true, it's one of these things
01:54where you're shooting over this cliff, looking at the ocean, and living your dream.
01:59It's like sometimes, after that 4000th failed audition, where you feel like, you know, feeling
02:05like you want to give up and that you feel like there's no hope in sight for that next
02:10job.
02:11It's when you get these kinds of opportunities that makes it all makes up for all the difficulty
02:16and the frustration when it doesn't work out.
02:20If you just don't give up, if you just keep focusing on fulfilling your dreams, amazing
02:25things can happen.
02:27Absolutely.
02:28When one door closes, another one opens, right?
02:29It's very serendipitous.
02:30A couple more questions for you, so what would you say is the genesis of this movie?
02:35What are audiences going to walk away feeling when they leave the theater today?
02:39You know, if you like Quentin Tarantino movies or Guy Ritchie films, this is in the vein
02:43of those two filmmakers.
02:46It's fun, it's action packed.
02:48It's funny, it's intense.
02:51So it's pretty much got everything for everyone.
02:54And last question, give us a spoiler, what's your favorite scene from the movie that you
02:58can't wait to see right now?
02:59I can't wait for you guys to see the scene where I get to torture Scarlett.
03:04You want us to see that as your favorite scene?
03:06Yes!
03:07But see, the thing is, this is a great scene because it's both a conflict of our psychological
03:14and physical prowess, so we get to do some fight training and it was just a great scene
03:19because just to go toe-to-toe with someone who is as badass as Scarlett is in this movie,
03:28it was absolutely one of the funnest scenes in the movie.
03:32All right, we're going to trust your judgment.
03:34That sounds super exciting.
03:35Well hey, thank you so much for stopping by and talking to us.
03:37Congratulations.
03:39Appreciate it.
