Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) was ordered by Allah to sacrifice his son Ismail as a test of faith. Ibrahim, being a devoted servant of Allah, agreed to obey the command without hesitation.
Ismail, who was a young man at the time, also willingly accepted his fate, showing his own devotion to Allah.
As Ibrahim prepared to slaughter his son, Allah replaced Ismail with a ram, saving his life.
