00:19I just knew that the only way to get to him was by gaining his trust.

00:24I started by gently approaching him and offering him some food.

00:30I figured that maybe he would feel more comfortable if I brought out my dog, Gracie, with me.

00:39Gracie finally broke the ice, and I saw them meeting each other in the distance.

02:17I did have some uneasiness because I wasn't sure if he would ever learn how to be a house dog.

02:26After a couple of weeks, he really began to settle.

02:33I knew putting all that time and effort and patience into rescuing him was the best thing.

02:47I would say to anyone out there who's in the same situation,

02:50that you just have to trust the process and never give up.
