Chris Wilder on Sheffield United's transfer situation ahead of the new Championship season

00:00You talked about the need for patience, obviously, with the situation at the club at the minute.

00:04Is this testing your patience a little bit in terms of numbers coming in and the need to strengthen?

00:10Yes, I mean, I said at the end of the season it was a huge summer for us.

00:15I think one of the biggest that we've had for a number of years.

00:18And ideally, you want your players in early and you want to work with them,

00:22but that hasn't been the case.

00:24So, you know, we'll just keep working away and try to add to the group.

00:29But all I can say is, you know, it's been really complimentary about the young players

00:33that have come into the group earlier than expected.

00:36I think they've been outstanding and they've grown into that pre-season.

00:41And the senior players have been excellent as well in terms of nurturing them boys along,

00:46as well as keeping their attitude open and their spirits up as well.

00:59Ideally, of course, you're allowed to work and you're allowed to work on different things.

01:05But, you know, that's how it is.
