00:22However, in one of the heats, Morris appeared to sustain an injury midway through the race,
00:27the 23-year-old collapsing to the ground in agony about 30m shy of the finish line.
00:33She had started the race brightly on the inside lane but suddenly seemed uncomfortable after
00:37one particular step.
00:39Morris then stumbled before she pulled up and fell over, with medical staff rushed onto
00:43the track to assist her after the race concluded.
00:47The South Sudanese athlete was left writhing on the floor in pain, clutching her leg.
00:52She remained on the floor for several minutes after the race before she was stretchered
00:55off the track by medics.
