Former CNN Star Don Lemon Files Lawsuit Against Elon Musk's X, Alleging 'False Promises and Misrepresentations' Over Talk Show Cancelation

Former CNN star Don Lemon has sued Elon Musk's X, formerly Twitter, over canceling a talk show deal on the platform. X had reached a deal with Lemon earlier this year worth $1.5 million plus a share of ad revenue from his show content. Lemon claims X used "false promises and representations” to convince him to agree and then canceled the deal after he had spent thousands preparing for the show. Musk later said Lemon's approach of "CNN but on social media” didn't work, pointing to CNN's declining viewership. During the interview, Lemon asked Musk about his drug use and hate speech on the platform. Lemon alleges fraud, negligent misrepresentation, and misuse of his name and likeness in the lawsuit against Musk and X.
