The funeral of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh took place at a major mosque in Doha, Qatar on Friday (Aug 2) following his assassination two days ago in Iran's capital Tehran.

00:42Haniyeh will be buried at a cemetery in Lusail.
00:45Iran and Hamas have accused Israel of carrying out the killing and have pledged for retaliation.
00:51Haniyeh's coffin was received by his wife upon its arrival in Doha from Tehran on Thursday.
00:57In Jakarta, Indonesians also held a funerary prayer for Haniyeh at the Istiklal Mosque.
