Im August geht die Krimi-Komödie Only Murders in the Building in die vierte Runde. Erstmals wird New York als Hauptschauplatz verlassen. Oliver (Martin Short), Charles (Steve Martin) und Mabel (Selena Gomez) finden sich in Hollywood wieder, um die Kriminalgeschichten ihres Podcasts verfilmen zu lassen. Die Verhandlungsgespräche verlaufen jedoch nicht wie geplant und das Trio erwartet ein weiteres blutiges Abenteuer.      Bei der Besetzung sind dieses Mal außerdem mit an Bord Meryl Streep (Der Teufel trägt Prada), Eugene Levy (American Pie), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Zach Galifianakis (Hangover), Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly), Kumail Ninjiani (Eternals), Richard Kind (Scrubs) und Jane Lynch (Glee).
