RM100mil allocated to beef up security along northern border, says PM

00:00For the border control, we have announced since last year, one billion ringgit for Sabah and Sarawak

00:20and also for the convenience, especially for the new Indonesian capital, IKN, in Kalimantan.

00:34I request for a report and in the agenda on Thursday, we will get the latest report

00:41and we will give guidance so that the action program will not be neglected.

00:48I would like to thank you for the steps that you have taken,

00:51the cooperation of the government and the airport officials,

00:53so that the convenience is accelerated at the border.

00:58On the other hand, there is a need in the north, in Semenanjung.

01:03For me, on the 3rd of this month, I will meet with the Prime Minister of Thailand,

01:08the Prime Minister of Setak, at the Golok and Lantau Long River,

01:12to discuss the security of the border and to plan the economic growth

01:19in the north of Semenanjung, in the Malay Peninsula, and also in the south of Thailand.

01:23And for the convenience of that addition,

01:26I agree that today we will pass 100 million ringgit for the border in Kelantan, Pedah Pelis.
