00:00Tupac's estate just hired a famous lawyer to investigate whether or not Diddy had something
00:18to do with his unaliving.
00:25With former LA gang member Keefy D being arrested in Las Vegas in connection with the shooting
00:30that led to the unaliving of Tupac.
00:33But now according to TMZ, Tupac's family estate has hired a big time lawyer, none other
00:39than Alex Spiro, whose other big time client happens to be Roc Nation, to look into the
00:46situation and try to uncover any evidence for any type of criminal or civil suits that
00:51could happen in the future.
00:53As TMZ says, Tupac's family is clearly disturbed over an allegation that Diddy may have played
00:58a role in the late rapper's murder.
01:01Something they're now digging into with a new legal team, who plan to get to the bottom
01:05of it and force action if they find any there there, TMZ has learned.
01:11Sources with direct knowledge tell us members of Tupac's still living relatives have retained
01:16attorneys Alex Spiro and Christopher Clore, as well as a team of investigators, to look
01:21into Keefy D's resurfaced allegation that Diddy offered to pay him and his crew money
01:26to take Tupac out in the 90s.
01:28And this all happened after an old transcript from an interview he did in 2009, where he
01:33alleged that Diddy was willing to pay up to a million dollars for a hit on Tupac.

02:52So, obviously, Diddy was never charged with that.
02:58The police eventually figured out what happened.

03:07And being who he was, he couldn't let that slide.
03:09He got his revenge.
03:10It seemed like an open and shut case.
03:12But Tupac's family and Roc Nation's lawyer, Alex Spiro, don't think so.
03:18So again, according to TMZ, sources say the Diddy allegation will be the main focus of
03:23this private investigation.
03:25And we're told the team is confident they'll surface potential evidence, including more
03:30legal documents.
03:31If they do, we're told any material that implicates Diddy in alleged wrongdoing will be passed
03:39on to proper authorities to be looked further into for possible criminal charges.
03:45And we should say there's no statute of limitations on murder.
03:48But TMZ continues, if nothing comes about on the criminal front, we're told Tupac's
03:53family would potentially look into filing a wrongful death suit.
03:56Again, assuming they uncover evidence to do so.
03:59The TMZ article concludes, saying, worth noting, Diddy has explicitly denied any involvement
04:05in Tupac's murder a handful of times over the years.
04:08And he's never been arrested as it pertains to this years-old rumor.
04:12Nonetheless, Tupac's family wants to clear the air on this once and for all.
04:15So basically Tupac's family's estate is hiring lawyers as private investigators and a private
04:21police to look for any type of evidence to recommend charges on Diddy, whether it be
04:27criminal or enough for a civil suit.
