00:00I'm Brianna and people are saying I'm exploding my daughters for views.
00:04Say hi guys!
00:05Hi guys!
00:06Why are you exploding your child for likes?
00:08This is mad weird.
00:10Everyone knows this lady is a scam.
00:13That's not her mom.
00:14She has a white mom.
00:15Y'all need to investigate.
00:18My sister is on her way over.
00:20We're going to talk about the nasty comments that I've been getting.
00:23So what did you think when I started posting?
00:26Oh wow.
00:27I was actually shocked.
00:29Okay, let's do our video.
00:31Hi guys!
00:32Hi guys!
00:34Okay, do some cute stuff.
00:36People said I can't be my daughter's mom because I'm black and they're white.
00:41My daughter's name is Ryder.
00:43She's five years old.
00:44My second daughter is London and she's two years old.
00:48We're following Airtime.
00:50We're following Airtime.
00:52In public, people are always looking at me.
00:54They're always asking, am I babysitting?
00:58Especially when they hear the kids calling me mom, they have a confused look on their face.
01:03It's just because they're white and I'm black.
01:07I actually haven't told anyone publicly that they're adopted.
01:10Got my mom right here.
01:13This is my sister right here.
01:15I got into fostering because I've seen so many kids in the system
01:19and they don't have their biological parents to be there for them
01:24and some of them have no hope.
01:27London is difficult.
01:29That was something I wanted to do, raise a kid to better their life.
01:32Look at that.
01:33There was a trend going on.
01:34My mom is black.
01:36On Thanksgiving of 23, me and Ryder hopped on the trend.
01:40My mom is black.
01:42Cory is black.
01:44It's basically just different things that we do in our culture.
01:47It would be like, my mom is black, of course she wears wigs.
01:50My mom is black.
01:52Of course we eat soul food.
01:54We end up going viral and then that's kind of how it all started.
02:01This child belongs to her friend.
02:03She's doing this for money.
02:05Everyone knows this lady is a scam.
02:08I'm not doing this for money.
02:10I love my girls.
02:12Someone said, you should take this down.
02:14Talk about the picture I posted me and Ryder.
02:16Why would I take that down when it's me and my daughter?
02:20These kids are not yours.
02:24And how would you know?
02:25Why are you exploding your child for likes?
02:27This is mad weird.
02:29That's not her mom.
02:30She has a white mom.
02:32Y'all need to investigate.
02:34One of the worst comments I received was someone telling me I did an IVF
02:38just to have white kids.
02:41Can mommy put it on your hair?
02:43Yeah.
02:44Once I turned 24 years old, I was discovering what I wanted to do.
02:47And so I ended up going to a class.
02:50There was a lady.
02:51She was telling me about foster care.
02:53So I went home, and I kind of thought about it.
02:56And I was like, I wouldn't mind becoming a mom
02:59and fostering over children that needs the care and love and support.
03:03So I ended up getting certified.
03:05They asked if I wanted a baby.
03:08I ended up getting Ryder, and she was two weeks old.
03:11I fostered her for six months.
03:13There was no chance of a biological mom getting her back,
03:17so they ended up asking if I wanted to adopt her.
03:20London adoption went pretty fast just because they're siblings.
03:24They have the same mom, same dad.
03:27I decided to make their accounts young, really off of when Ryder went viral.
03:33That way, as they grow, they're gaining more followers, more audience.
03:37So that way, when they get a certain age,
03:39to see maybe if they want to make it a career, acting or modeling
03:44or something like that.
03:46Once I reveal that they're adopted,
03:48there will be negative comments, and there will be positive comments.
03:52I feel like the negative will still be like,
03:54why are you raising her like that?
03:56Why are you doing her hair like that?
03:58Let her find out about her own culture.
04:00So I think it will still be negative on that end.
04:03And then you're going to have the positive,
04:05where people actually view it differently.
04:07Like, wow, you love someone so much,
04:09where you took the time to actually adopt her
04:11and go through the process,
04:13and you're loving this child.
04:15At the end of the day, skin color doesn't define
04:18if this is your child or not.
04:20I protect my kids from the comments.
04:22I just tell them all the positive comments.
04:24I don't get into the negative.
04:26Hi, Ryder.
04:28So today, Maliyah's going to come over.
04:30Maliyah, which is my sister.
04:32London, can I have a hug?
04:34We're going to talk about the judgment that I've been getting.
04:37It is hot.
04:39So what did you think when I started posting the girls and stuff?
04:43Oh, wow.
04:45I was actually very shocked.
04:47Like, you kind of blew up quickly, too.
04:49I think it was like a week,
04:51and you just started gaining followers,
04:53which was cool, but I didn't like the negative comments.
04:56At the time, she was like 4 years old,
04:58and they were talking about a 4-year-old
05:00and how she was speaking,
05:02and I just feel like that was uncalled for.
05:05It's ridiculous,
05:07but I like how you kind of opened the opportunity for her
05:10to express herself by dancing in the videos
05:13and remaking content.
05:15Have a surprise.
05:17I'm not able to play that.
05:19Play it out.
05:21It's kind of crazy, though.
05:23In the beginning, it was just like, oh, is she black?
05:25She black. But now it's like, are they adopted?
05:27People are really concerned,
05:29and they're wondering, like, are they your kids?
05:32Are they not your kids?
05:34So I said, I think I'ma just let it be known
05:37that they are adopted.
05:39Can Mommy play with you?
05:41Yeah? Do you love Mommy?
05:43Yeah. I love you, too, girl.
05:45Lately, people have been saying,
05:47did I do IVF?
05:49Did I give birth to these kids?
05:51Oh, a new comment has been crazy.
05:53They've been asking,
05:55show the pregnancy pictures.
05:57I wonder what they're gonna say
05:59when you do announce that they're adopted.
06:02I feel like that's gonna be...
06:04I think that's what I'm afraid of.
06:08You're welcome.
06:10No, don't eat it!
06:12We are sisters, and I want to have my sister back,
06:14like, regardless.
06:16So when I seen that she was getting, like, backlash
06:18from them, like, don't worry about the comments.
06:20I know who you are. Like, you don't have to worry
06:22about what other people are saying.
06:24I know what you do behind the scenes,
06:26because obviously they can't see that.
06:28So I just told her, like, just don't worry about it.
06:30Really.
06:32There are so many kids in the system
06:34who don't get a chance to be adopted.
06:36I mean, they grow up, and they're from home to home.
06:38They're not being properly loved.
06:40And my message for you,
06:42like, if you can do it,
06:44go for it.
06:46My hopes for the future
06:48of my family is to make sure
06:50the girls have a
06:52positive path,
06:54support them in going to school,
06:56to just be there every step of the way
06:58in life and ensuring that
07:00I'm giving them a safe, loving,
07:02nurturing environment.
07:24My daughters have changed my life for the better
07:26because
07:28before I react to things,
07:30I always think about them.
07:32I'm always wanting to better myself for them
07:34so that they can see, like,
07:36oh, wow, if Mom is doing it,
07:38so can I.
07:40The people who judge me,
07:42they have their opinion.
07:44Sometimes you're not always right,
07:46so it's just best for you not to judge others.
07:48And before you start judging,
07:50find out.
07:52Ask questions if you have to.
07:54Don't take a book by its cover just because what you see
07:56is like, oh, yeah, that's what it is.
07:58Because sometimes it's not like that.
