Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a courtesy call from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Sunday (July 28) at Seri Perdana.

Anwar in his Facebook post shared that the visit was in conjunction with the envoy’s two-day official visit to Malaysia.

00:32He said both Malaysia and Russia underscored the imperative need for a permanent ceasefire,
00:38immediate humanitarian relief, and the recognition of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations.
00:44On the conflict in Ukraine, Malaysia reiterated its stance on the importance of dialogue and
00:49diplomatic efforts as the path to a sustainable resolution.
