00:00In their former lives, the container spent 25 plus years
00:05traveling across oceans, roads, and rails,
00:08and have the battle scars to prove it.
00:10Each container tells its own story with the cargo it holds.
00:13And with every dent and ding that we have
00:16or scuff mark on the floor, it's a history and time
00:19that you can't repeat.
00:20Yes, and I also think that as a parent with three
00:23young children, they can add dings and dents of their own,
00:26and it'll just add more character.
00:28We're a perfectly imperfect family,
00:30and our house is perfectly imperfect as well.
00:34The original floors have their own stories to tell.
00:38Stephanie, I love these floors.
00:40Yeah, they're fantastic.
00:41They're really great.
00:42Tell me about the process.
00:43What did you do?
00:44Really, we just had somebody come in and sand them,
00:47and then we chose the perfect stain.
00:50And what was really interesting is these metal ribbons.
00:53That's what I'm loving.
00:54What are these?
00:55These larger metal strips are where the semi-trailers would
00:59come in and catch the trailers.
01:01When we had them come in and sand the wood,
01:04they sanded the metal as well, and it just
01:06exposed this bright steel that we couldn't walk away from.
