Hey guys, Hamish and Ben from the Exterminator here.
00:04
We are in the small town of Perth, north of Tasmania.
00:08
And Ben, can you feel it in the air?
00:10
Olympics fever!
00:12
Man, that thing is hot!
00:14
It is, it is.
00:15
The unlikely relationship between a butcher and a baker ham.
00:18
I know, who would have thought?
00:19
Why are we here?
00:20
Why are we here?
00:21
Well, this shop over here is a personal favourite
00:26
of a famous Perth local, Georgia Baker,
00:30
who will be riding for Australia.
00:34
Think about this time next week, what's happening Ben?
00:37
Yeah, she's riding on the track in the Velodrome.
00:40
She's doing three different events, so she could potentially win three gold medals.
00:43
And in my hand, I have her all-time favourite steak.
00:48
The Georgia Baker Special.
00:50
The Georgia Baker Special.
00:51
She comes back to Perth, every time she comes back here,
00:53
she gets this exact order.
00:55
She gets a peppered steak from this great butcher, The Sausage Shop,
00:58
where Phil and Tanya have been supporting her ever since she's been a kid.
01:02
They've supported me since I was a junior cyclist.
01:05
I remember having fundraisers just for me to go to my Junior World Championships.
01:10
I had the Bunnings, Sausage Sizzle, and they provided sausages, hamburgers,
01:15
and they really supported me and got behind me.
01:18
Every time I'm home, I obviously go there.
01:21
The thing I always go for is the peppered steak.
01:23
They do a great peppered steak.
01:25
It's a bit of an old, it's an old recipe, peppered steak,
01:29
but Georgia's always liked it, even since she was a little kid.
01:32
So, you know, the local businesses would have all helped her in some way.
01:36
So, and you know, she's a good kid.
01:39
She deserves all the support she gets, decking out the shop.
01:43
And yeah, everyone who goes through Perth is going to know
01:47
that Georgia's one of our customers.
01:50
She's done a marvellous job with her career.
01:53
Like, she's got to travel the world and do what she loves,
01:57
and she's pretty good at it.
01:59
Every time Georgia comes home, she always calls in.
02:02
So, you know, brings the medals in, shows us,
02:05
and she's done that a fair few times.
