According to a new report from the Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya has allegedly grown frustrated with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. Despite the excitement surrounding Season 3, production has been delayed due to various setbacks, including the tragic death of cast member Angus Cloud and industry-wide strikes. 00:09Season 3 of Euphoria has been a highly contested topic of conversation over the last few years.

00:15The final episode of the second season aired on February 27th in 2022, and production on

00:21season 3 still has not begun.

00:23To be fair, production was set back for a number of reasons, from the tragic death of

00:28cast member Angus Cloud to industry-wide strikes.

00:31However, a source told Variety magazine back in March the delay was due to Sam Levinson

00:36writing and rewriting the scripts, apparently with one bizarre idea that included Zendaya's

00:41character Rue becoming a private detective.

00:44Along with this, it was rumored HBO executives started feeling unsatisfied with Levinson,

00:49possibly as a byproduct of the controversy that Levinson and The Weeknd stirred up with

00:53another HBO show, The Idol.

00:56Despite this, Variety also reported back in March that some of Euphoria's leading

00:59cast members, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sidney Sweeney, were set on seeing the

01:04series through with Levinson staying on as the main writer.

01:07However, it turns out there's a chance that may not be entirely true, as The Hollywood

01:12Reporter recently shared in an article published on July 23rd.

01:16According to the article from The Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya has allegedly been quote

01:21frustrated with Levinson after he devoted more time to The Idol than planned, leaving

01:25Euphoria somewhat neglected.

01:27The star was apparently so bothered by the way things were going with Euphoria towards

01:31the end of season 2, she set up a meeting with HBO executives.

01:35This meeting was followed months later by another meeting with execs, allegedly to help

01:40smooth out the issues between Zendaya and Levinson.

01:43A source involved with the show would speak on the pair's relationship, sharing,

01:48HBO recently announced on July 20th that production is finally set to begin on Euphoria season

01:563 in January, so fans will just have to wait and see if Levinson ends up meeting the mark.
