00:11Or maybe you're left-handed yourself?

00:13Get ready, because you're about to be amazed!

00:20Lefty, Southpaw, left-handed.

00:23These people are the dominant hand,

00:25or what's commonly used in everyday activities,

00:28is the left hand.

00:29Approximately 10% down of the world population,

00:32or 1 out of 10 people, are left-handed.

00:35That's why they say,

00:36we're living in a right-handed world.

00:38In fact, some everyday things

00:40are usually done for the right-handers.

00:43Unfair, lefty friends?

01:00That's why lefties say the struggle is real.

01:17Especially on notebooks.

01:19Usually, what we write is smudged on our hands.

01:24When you're eating, and you're all close together,

01:27and our mouth is in line with the person eating on the right,

01:35that's the difficult struggle.

01:39because it's really designed for the right-handed,

01:43so if you use it on the left, you'll have a hard time.

02:28It's said that genetic influence,

02:31or being lefty, depends on the parent.

02:34Two right-handed parents have a 9% chance

02:39that their child will be lefty.

02:42Meanwhile, if one of the parents is lefty,

02:45chances will be raised to 19%.

02:49And if both parents are lefty,

02:52there's a 26% chance

02:55that their child will also be lefty.
