00:00that votes for the head of the United Auto Workers.
00:04This guy doesn't know what he's doing.
00:06He's approved all electric cars.
00:08And, you know, Elon — I love Elon Musk.
00:10Do we love him? I love him.
00:12And I'm constantly talking about electric cars.
00:17But I don't mean I'm against — I'm totally for them.
00:19But whatever the market says —
00:21and if it's 10 percent of the market,
00:2212 percent, 7 percent, 20 percent —
00:25whatever it is, it's okay.
00:27But you can't have 100 percent electric cars.
00:30And, you know, so Elon endorsed me recently.
00:33The other day, actually.
00:35He's great. Elon Musk. He's a brilliant guy.
00:41Every time I call him, he's talking about,
00:43I got a new idea for a rocket. You have to hear this.
00:46No, it's true.
00:48You know, the first time I ever saw this —
00:50I'm watching television, like, three years ago,
00:53and I see a rocket engine, motor engine,
00:57come down, landing, straight up in it.
00:59No wings, no nothing. And it's landing.
01:01And I thought I was seeing things.
01:02What is that?
01:04And it's landing on a barge in the middle of the ocean.
01:07And then another one comes down, and another one,
01:09and another — I guess four of them came down,
01:11three or four. And they land upright.
01:14I said, What the hell was that? I've never seen that before.
01:17Now, if that were government, you wouldn't see that
01:19for another 50 to 100 years.
01:21But it was Elon.
01:23Now, think of that. And I called him.
01:30And I've always had a good relationship with him.
01:32But I called him, and I said, What was that?
01:35He said, Well, we saved the engines.
01:36We saved the engines because it's very expensive to build.
01:41So, I mean, it didn't take me long to figure
01:42that if you save them, that's good.
01:43But who the hell thought you could do that?
01:45No wings, no nothing.
01:46Just like these big, long, massive tubes.
01:49And they're landing gently, right on the dot.
01:52I said, That's the coolest thing I've ever seen.
01:55And you say, How long would it take government
01:57to come up with that one?
01:58I don't think they ever heard of it.
02:00Perhaps they still haven't heard of it.
02:02But, you know, he's a very advanced person,
02:04and he's doing other things that are great.
02:06And so are others. We have to make —
02:08we have to make life good for our smart people, you know?
02:11We have some smart people.
02:12We have to make life good for our smart people.
02:14And he's as smart as you get.
02:17But Elon endorsed me the other day,
02:22and I read — I didn't even know this.
02:24He didn't even tell me about it.
02:27But he gives me $45 million a month.
02:32A month. Not 45 million.
02:36He gives me $45 million a month.
02:43And I talked to him just a little while ago
02:46to say I was coming here. How you doing?
02:48And he didn't even mention it. He didn't mention.
02:52I mean, other guys, they give you $2,
02:53and you got to take them to lunch.
02:55You got to wine them, dine them.
02:56No, he's a great guy. He really is.
03:00But, you know, he's never mentioned to me,
03:03Why are you hitting the electric cars?
03:04Because he understands I'm not hitting it.
03:06I think it's incredible.
03:08I've had them. I've driven them. They're incredible.
03:10But they're not for everybody.
03:13Some people have to drive long distances.
03:16And they tend to be more expensive.
03:22And, you know, they'll probably be made in China
03:24because China has all of that material.
