00:00Acting has been, God, you know, it's been since 2016, since I did a movie.

00:20And that was right when I decided, okay, I'm going to have a new lease on life.

00:24I'm starting, you know, I quit drinking and even though I wasn't drinking for years before

00:29that, it was a binge I'd gone out on.

00:31But anyway, I was really getting my life and then I was actually just too sick to continue

00:36as a Nicolas Cage movie mom and dad.

00:37I loved it at the best time.

00:40And then when I needed to go back to work to keep making my insurance, to keep doing

00:44things because it's what I do, but I'd been sick for so long that I actually had to get

00:49on a plane to go to Atlanta to shoot and I was in too much pain.

00:55And that's how I ended up just saying, you know, getting a steroid shot and trying to

00:59move again.

01:00It made it worse and got the diagnosis that night in an MRI, but still got on the plane

01:04at six in the morning the next morning and did that shoot because the show goes on and

01:08waited until I was done with all my job to start doing treatment for that mess.

01:15So right now I would love nothing more than to get a call from say Mike White, like Jennifer

01:21Coolidge did once upon a time.

01:24The paint was peeling in her house.

01:27No longer is it peeling.

01:30You know, I think we always hope for that deus ex machina that comes in and says, your

01:36dreams can still come true here.

01:38I have a career I loved, but it was definitely, I never really had a plan.

01:43I was just happy to do it really.

01:47And now I do have a plan as in, you know, I paid my dues.

01:50So it is harder to be a beginner again and things when you're also like, I know how to

01:57do this.

01:58I'm excited though.

01:59I really am excited to be this, to be a grown up.

02:03I haven't really ever been a grown up on film.

02:05I did give up forever.

02:07I never thought I would or that my voice would be distracting if it comes in and out or between

02:11medicine or, you know, heat a long day.

02:15So I didn't even try because I wouldn't want to ever disappoint someone.

02:19But no, I will definitely, you know, I'm open for business.
