00:00In the air, Anthony Jean-Jean flies, carving impressive figures above the park.
00:07It's just a couple of months out from the Paris Olympic Games,
00:11and the 26-year-old BMX freestyle specialist is growing wings.
00:16This year, he added two major victories to his name,
00:20in his hometown of Montpellier in France and in Japan,
00:24a country that brings back painful memories.
00:27Three years ago, at his first Olympic Games in Tokyo,
00:31he finished seventh after a fall.
00:34I'm going with less pressure than for Tokyo because I really know what it's like.
00:38I know it's a competition where the expectations are huge.
00:41Now I've got the weapons to prepare myself and arrive as ready as possible in Paris.
00:45So that's what I'm going to do. Of course, I've got to make up for Tokyo.
00:49The French rider has become one of the world's leading BMX freestylers
00:53over the last two years.
00:55In addition to his French championship titles,
00:58Jean-Jean has finished on the podium in every world and European competition.
01:03For the day in Paris, his coach has a clear objective.
01:12We can't afford not to go for gold. We can't settle for anything less.
01:16We have to set our sights very high, and whatever happens, we know we can achieve it.
01:25BMX freestyle has only been an Olympic discipline since the last Games in Tokyo.
01:31Come July, Anthony Jean-Jean and the French team
01:34will have a golden opportunity to make history in their home country.
