00:00Hello everybody, my name is Nikolas, I'm the technical manager of Soudal Quick-Step.

00:05We are here with Remco's specialised SL8 road bike.

00:16So in front we have the Roval cockpit, so the bars 38 cm wide and a 1.15 stem.

00:24In front of the cockpit we have the K-Edge, the Garmin mount, which can get all the data and all the info that Remco needs during the stage.

00:34In front we have also the Rapide, the team wheels with the cotton tyres from Specialized.

00:41Tyre pressure depends on the weather conditions, so wet or dry, that makes a little bit of a difference.

00:47If we look at the brakes, it's Shimano Dura-Ace brakes with a 160 mm rotor in front.

00:53So we have a Dura-Ace crankset with a power meter, 165 mm.

00:59Quite short cranks because Remco is not as tall as the taller guys.

01:04And it's the direction we go with all of our riders, shorter cranks.

01:09Also in front the front derailleur, not a 1x but double chainrings in front.

01:15If we go more up, we have the seatpost, zero offset seatpost.

01:20So just straight on top the power mirror saddle from Specialized.

01:25So 3D printed and quite soft and gives some comfort.

01:29So then in the back we have the rear derailleur from Shimano as well, the Dura-Ace.

01:35With a cassette 1134, which Remco is using most of the time, even on flat stages, because it feels pretty nice for him.

01:43So talking about the wheels, we have the repeat wheels from Specialized, from Roval.

01:48For now the bike here is with a cotton clincher tire, so with the latex inner tube.

01:53We have both options, we can ride tubeless, we can ride cotton.

01:58So it depends on the rider or the circumstances, we just swap between tubeless and clincher.

02:05So talking about the paint job, it's a custom paint job that Remco made together with Specialized.

02:12Remco likes to get custom and they just sit together during the winter time to design this paint job.

02:19It's a light paint job, so it looks quite heavy, but it's not.

02:24We have some small details with the valve pack and Remco's name.

02:28So that's it.
