Musician Marina recently expressed her admiration for Billie Eilish, describing the experience of having the 'Bad Guy' singer as a fan as "flattering." Marina, known for her career with Marina and the Diamonds, has solidified her place in the music scene with her distinct pop style and introspective lyrics, highlighted by hits like "Primadonna" and "How to be a Heartbreaker." Recently performing alongside Kylie Minogue and discussing her upcoming 2025 album in an interview with Attitude, Marina reflected on her first live performance in over a year. When asked about Billie Eilish's fandom, Marina remarked, "It’s flattering, especially when the artist is amazing – I’m a fan of Billie. It feels like a nice cycle of life in music, when someone like Kylie [Minogue] has inspired me, and my music had inspired another generation of artists." She also praised rising star Chappell Roan, noting, "I love her. I can totally see why people draw comparisons. She’s very idiosyncratic and very much herself.
