From classic to contemporary: Five delicious agave cocktail recipes to make at home

Inspired by the growing trend of agave-based cocktails, five expert London bartenders share their recipes for classic drinks with an agave twist.

00:00We'll start with some Reposado Tequila, we'll do 40 mls of, 25 mls of Blank Overmouth, a

00:29little 5 mls of Mandala, which is basically a little almond flavoured distillate. Adds

00:36a real nuttiness to the drink. 5 mls of Simple Syrup, just for balance. And 2 dashes of Orange

00:44Peppers. So we're going to start with 1 measure of Mezcal, 1 of Campari, 1 of Sweet Vermouth.

01:11We're going to give it a nice stir. Pour it over a nice chunk of ice. Nice orange zest on top.

01:23A nice zest of orange. And that's it, Mezcal Negron.

01:29So we're going to put 40 mls of House Vodka, 25 mls of Sugar Syrup, 25 mls of Coffee Mezcal and 50 mls of Coffee.

01:59So the drink is completely clarified, pre-batched and is poured, is already ready to pour in

02:23the mixing glass, with a dash of Grapefruit Bitter. We serve the drink in a frozen glass.

02:39We garnish with a Cherry Tomato. This is our Tomato Bamboo.

02:4450 mls of Cacao, 2 dashes of Vita, 50 mls of Tequila Maestro Doble Granito.
