00:03The last time we spoke, you'd book your first lead role

00:07Now you're also starring in The Exorcism with Russell Crowe.

00:12All kinds of messed up stuff happened

00:13when they were making movies like The Omen or The Exorcist.

00:16So how did you prep for a role like this?

00:18You know, I just dove right in.

00:20I'm a huge scaredy cat.

00:22I love the script.

00:23I loved how it was about a film within a film.

00:26And I was just like, you know what, let's do it, Chloe.

00:29What surprised you the most about working

00:31with Russell Crowe?

00:32He's a big teddy bear.

00:33He was so kind to me.

00:35We were bonding about music and his farm in Australia

00:39and his animals and the meaning of life.

00:42Like he's so, so, so cool.

00:44For fun, can you give us your best horror scream or cry?

00:48Oh, well, okay.

00:50So that's the thing.

00:51I screamed so much on the film,

00:52but I was like making sure I was doing it properly.

00:55Yeah.

00:56From my diaphragm,

00:57because I did not ruin my vocal cords.

00:59So, you know, I can go, ah, for now.

01:04Your album, Ungodly Hour,

01:06with your sister, Hailey, just turned four years old.

01:12What do you remember most about recording that album

01:14and shooting music videos from that time?

01:16What a lot of people don't know is that we finished

01:18that album and shot Do It and Forgive Me

01:21and had that in the vault for a whole year

01:23before we actually released it.

01:25So timing is everything.

01:27And I'm so happy that as time has gone on,

01:31the fans have appreciated it even more

01:34and what we did throughout that pandemic.

01:36And now we've got the next generation coming up.

01:39Your nephew, Halo, is seven months old.

01:41Does he just light up when Auntie Khloe walks into the room?

01:44He is the most handsome baby.

01:46He is the smartest baby.

01:48And maybe I'm biased because I'm his auntie,

01:49but I'm absolutely in love.

01:51I was doing my makeup before my brother's graduation.

01:54You know, I had my sisters with me and Halo

01:58and I had my concealer and, you know,

02:00the contour before I blended it.

02:01And he just thought it was the funniest thing.

02:03So I would keep inching closer and closer to him

02:05and he would just laugh so hard.

02:07And anytime like that, it makes me happy.

02:10Like, I feel like I'm the best auntie in the world.

02:12And one of my favorite things to do is when I hold him

02:15and we go closer to the mirror,

02:16he'll smile at himself with his little dimple.

02:18Like, he is just, oh.

02:21How would you describe the experience

02:23of watching your little sis become somebody's mother?

02:26She's always been so maternal.

02:27And I've always known that she'd have a baby before me

02:31and I'm happy because I get to reap the benefits.

02:34Who spoils him the most?

02:35Mom or dad?

02:37Me.

02:39What did you buy him?

02:39What did you buy baby Halo?

02:40Golden plated bracelet that says Halo.

02:47You have new solo music on the way too.

02:54I know that you've teased that it has a tropical sound.

02:57What inspired that?

02:58Yes, so it's what a summer fling sounds like

03:01and what it feels like.

03:02That's what Trouble in Paradise truly encompasses.

03:05And I found myself in St. Lucia.

03:08I know a lot of people don't really take me seriously

03:10when I say that, but my New Year's resolution this year

03:13was to find a healthy balance, you know,

03:18not being overly consumed by work

03:21and finding my validation there.

03:23And when I went to St. Lucia for the first time

03:25for Carnival last year, I absolutely fell in love.

03:29Whenever I need to check out, that's where I go.

03:32And I feel like my self-confidence has blossomed.

03:36My music has blossomed.

03:38Everything about me has blossomed

03:40and I have a glow about me

03:42and I appreciate myself in life even more.

03:46So going there to write about my troubles,

03:49that's why it's called Trouble in Paradise.

03:51And, you know, it's definitely a fun project.

03:54I didn't take myself seriously with this

03:56and with the weird, cool meanings and stuff like that.

04:00So I can't wait for people to hear it.
