00:00Hello friends, I have the latest update and data as requested.
00:04This was posted after the race, and this is the most detailed breakdown, lap by lap at
00:09every checkpoint which I just received from the technical team.
00:13After cross-referencing this with my iWatch data, there clearly was a mistake, and I take
00:18full responsibility for it.
00:21Allow me to explain.
00:22During the bike session, suspecting something was amiss as I came back earlier than expected,
00:27I immediately flagged this to the technical team 1.
00:31I was informed then that there was no problem and continued as usual.
00:35Technical team 1 comprised of 2 officers who can testify to this.
00:39Now with the latest data, it showed that I did complete 3 loops and cross all the checkpoints,
00:45but 1 loop at the beginning was for the Olympic loop race, instead of the 1-1-3.
00:50This is shown clearly at paragraph 6, bike lap 1.
00:53Lap 2 and lap 3 had no problems, thus explaining why it wasn't 2 loops at 60km, but 3 loops
00:59at 72km.
01:01Allow me to show my Strava.
01:03It's not super detailed, but it's already public.
01:05Then I cross-reference it together with my iWatch data, then you get a little bit more
01:12detail.
01:13However, the reason why I didn't share this early on, because some facts are just not
01:19accurate.
01:20For example, it's stated on my iWatch that I only swam for 100m, while as the race has
01:25proven it was 2.25km, and at the same time, the registered running time was much later
01:31than reported.
01:32And that is exactly why I waited for the official data to cross-reference this first.
01:38This was an honest mistake on my part.
01:41Despite double-checking the problem during the race and notifying the technical team,
01:45still as a participant, I should have been more responsible.
01:49I unreservedly apologise to the Trithlon community.
01:52Yes, I am a newbie, and I look forward to improving.
01:56After speaking to the organisers and the technical rep, it is best that my status be DNF.
02:01They also acknowledge that this was an honest mistake.
02:05I promise to be a lot more careful next time, and will work closely with the community to
02:10be better as this is a sport I truly love.
02:13Thank you very much.
