England fans watch on at Bluewater's Ballerz as England reach EURO24 semi finals

Bars and pubs have been allowed to stay open later at this week's semi final, and have been reaping in the rewards during England's success so far.

00:00It was the million pound kick. That is, of course, for owners of Kent's bars and pubs

00:05for who them, it meant that bums were guaranteed to be on the seats as England face off this

00:10weekend against Switzerland for a spot in the final four of this year's Euros.

00:16As fans have come to expect by now, it was a pretty nervous affair as things got underway

00:21but with pints in hand and eyes glued to the big screen, especially here at Bluewater's

00:26new football club Ballers, that unrelenting hope of a Three Lions success just wouldn't

00:31go away.

00:33That was until the 75th minute when the opposition scored.

00:40Time continued to tick on. These fans were beginning to hope for another miracle. All

00:45of a sudden, England were back in it and heading to extra time for the second game in a row.

00:56However, a lacklustre 30 minutes in extra time meant the crowds around the screens started

01:01to double. Everyone wanted to get their eyes on, or off, of England facing penalties.

01:07Even the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Gary O'Neill, he just happened to show up

01:11whilst our cameras were rolling.

01:14Four perfect kicks, one perfect save, and it all came down to one man.

01:20Trent Alexander-Arnold stepped up to the mark and...

01:42Didn't think they could do it, but they do it in the final minutes as usual, don't they?

01:47They can probably go on and win it now, I reckon.

01:50You know, we've got some really good players and I think that's how we should be looking.

01:53All the previous games didn't quite click like that. That's what I want to see.
