Electronic PRC identification card, kasama na sa eGovPH

Transcript
00:00The digital ID of the Professional Regulation Commission of PRC is now included in the EGOVPH.
00:06How will this help the professionals?
00:09Let's find out from Rod Lagusan.
00:13A faster process.
00:15This is what is expected now that the Professional Regulatory Commission has a digital ID.
00:20At the same time, the agency is now fully integrated in the EGOVPH,
00:24which is part of the continued digitalization of the government.
00:27The beauty of the digital form of the PRC ID that's already integrated with the EGOVPH
00:33is because it's also integrated with the national ID.
00:36This can now be verifiable, it cannot be tampered anymore.
00:41If someone tries to pretend to be someone else, the system will not allow it.
00:45According to Almirol, the PRC does not need to go to register or renew.
00:49Through this, according to the PRC,
00:51there is an option for a professional to use a physical or digital ID.
00:56The Commission issued a resolution,
00:58and the import of the resolution is making everyone aware
01:02that the EPIC bears the same import as the physical ID.
01:10So the question cannot be raised that it's just electronic.
01:15The Commission has issuance settling the question
01:19that the EPIC is of the same import as the physical identification card.
01:24The PRC made it clear that no one will lose their job because of the digital card.
01:28Because they don't have anyone, the job is just an issuance.
01:31In their evidence, there are other things that can be done.
01:34And when it comes to the security of the data in the EGOVPH app,
01:38the DICT is not the one who cares for the data of all agencies.
01:42So like now, the PRC is the one who cares for its own data.
01:46It should be the PINGELC who cares for its own data.
01:48But what the DICT is doing is creating another layer of security.
01:53It's called the single sign-on.
