Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán makes surprise China visit after trip to Russia

00:13According to Chinese media, Orban praised China's constructive and important initiatives

00:19for achieving peace and described Beijing as a stabilizing force amid global turbulence

00:25during a press conference with the country's President Xi Jinping.

00:30Meanwhile it's reported Xi Jinping called on world powers to help Russia and Ukraine

00:35resume direct dialogue and negotiations.

00:40Just two months ago, the Chinese President made a similar trip to Budapest as part of

00:45his three-country European tour, which also included stops in France and Serbia.

00:52During the visit, Hungary and China signed a number of new agreements to deepen their

00:56economic and cultural cooperation.
