00:00You know what that means, AEW Dynamite is live from the fabulous Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
00:06I'm Excalibur, joined by Tony Schiavone, the human suplex machine, Taz, and soon to be
00:11the newly crowned TBS champion, the CEO, Mercedes Monday.
00:19Well, this is an entrance for a star, Excalibur. There's no question about that.
00:23And, Taz, we were all there, of course, in our last event, Double or Nothing, and saw
00:30what she did becoming the champion. Absolutely, and it was definitely impressive,
00:35and you see right here, it was Willow at that time was the TBS champion, Excalibur,
00:40and it went down. This was a physical matchup between these two ladies. It certainly was a
00:43hard-fought contest. Willow Nightingale gave it her all. Mercedes Monday, though,
00:49able to dethrone Willow Nightingale as the TBS champion, and there was more to that story.
00:55We'll go into that a little bit later, but the story at the moment, right now, Mercedes Monday,
01:02the TBS champion. And as you said, Tony, an entrance fit for a star, fit for a champion.
01:11Absolutely. As you can see, the ring full of balloons. It's a celebration for
01:16the CEO, Mercedes Monday, and this was big for her because it was her comeback
01:22from a very serious injury. Yeah, first match in over a year this past Sunday,
01:28and she was able to win the TBS championship at Double or Nothing, five years of AEW.

03:13Willow had the run of her career and she gave me the fight of my life.

03:28I could have told you a mile away that Chris and that sneaky snake Stokely were going to screw you
03:34over. But Willow, when you come back, when you return, I want you to come back
03:43better than ever. And I hope you kick their ass.
