00:00Today, we're going to deal with one really topical subject, which actually describing

00:05a cause of ED or potential cause of ED caused by mycoplastic.

00:18Recently, in the news, there was some report of men who actually underwent erectile dysfunction

00:24procedure, which is the insertion of penile prosthesis, was noted to have significant

00:30level of mycoplastic in the penile tissues.

00:35In fact, this study actually was published just in the month of June, highlighting that

00:39six men who underwent the actual procedures for the insertion of penile prosthesis, at

00:45the same time, some samples were taken from the penile erectile tissues.

00:50And it was noted that all six individual has got mycoplastics embedded into the erectile

00:56tissues.

00:57What exactly is mycoplastic?

01:00In fact, mycoplastic is when the actual particles, what's supposed to be inert that is in our

01:05ecosystem, which is less than five millimeters.

01:09And all these mycoplastics actually has two types.

01:13One type is the one that actually deliberately put into the sort of things that we use.

01:19For example, shampoos and also lotions.

01:22On the other hand, the second type of mycoplastics is actually the type of mycoplastics that

01:28is degenerated from the bigger form of plastics and eventually drain into the ecosystem.

01:36And when it is in the soil and in the air and also in the water, this is consumed by

01:43various form of ecosystem and is actually contracted into our body in a form of touch,

01:50inhalation and ingestions.

01:53So in a way, we can assume that mycoplastic is all around us.

01:59And does that cause erectile dysfunction?

02:02The answer is we don't know.

02:05Because when we find these mycoplastics in the erectile tissues, we have to make assumption

02:11that that itself may cause obstruction of the blood vessels, degradations of erectile

02:17tissues or even to some extent, inflammation.

02:22So for the second installation of putting Dr. G on the spot in the month of July, I

02:27would like to dwell into the causes of erectile dysfunction by smoking.
