00:00Hello everyone. Today I am trying the Great Canadian Meats. I've tried various ones of

00:07the Great Canadian Meats, Beef Jerky and the Pepperoni Mini Sticks, but today the flavor

00:13one I'm trying is Smoky Bacon. I've never seen this before, so I thought it was new,

00:19but there's no new symbol up there saying new. And these have filled with protein, gluten-free

00:24and they're smoked. So I'm going to give these a try today and as you see they have that

00:29little pack in there to take away the moisture. So the flavor is in there and it has a nice

00:35Ziploc bag at the top that I'll open up for right now. But before I do that, I'm just

00:40going to read the back here. Pork and chicken water. So there's pork and chicken in these.

00:47Detox, spices, abstracts, garlic, yeast and a lot of words I just can't pronounce. It

00:56contains mustard. The Great Canadian Meats is a Canadian company. So the calories are

01:0390%, 12% fat, 18% trans fat, zero fiber, zero sugar, sodium is 8%, potassium is 2 and iron

01:16is 2. So I'm going to give these a shot right now and let's see if they actually taste like

01:21a bacon. You know, as I'm smelling it, I don't smell bacon. I just smell the pepperoni

01:34sticks. They just smell like pepperoni sticks. That's what they smell like. Yeah, I don't

01:40smell any bacon whatsoever by opening it up and that kind of worries me because I believe

01:45when you open it up, you should have that smell of smoky bacon and I don't smell that

01:50at all. I smell the smoky sausage. Okay, so here's the sausage here. Small little one.

01:59I still don't smell the bacon. Okay. As I'm eating it, I do taste the bacon. But it's

02:19a very mild flavor. Like it's not an overwhelming flavor of it. It's a very mild flavor of bacon.

02:31So and actually the bacon taste actually tastes kind of weird too. Maybe it's just me but

02:39I'll try another one too and see if it's consistent. But it's very mild. It literally tastes as

02:49a little weird to be honest with you. Okay, so I'm going to try another one now and see.

03:11It's definitely consistent in the flavor. But it's an odd taste. I can't distinguish

03:26the taste. Like a minute there I would taste maybe a little bit of bacon but it tastes

03:31just like a weird bacon. These sticks taste weird to me. I'll tell you one thing, I've

03:50never tasted anything like these before. If you want a different taste, just get these

03:56and I can guarantee you, yeah. Like you know what? Chalk comes to mind. Like I'm eating

04:03chalk but I know it's not chalk. But it kind of reminds me of eating chalk. It's a weird

04:10flavor. Okay, I'll try a third one. Maybe I just got an off batch. This one's good.

04:27That's the thing I don't like about these type of things. Some are really good. This

04:34is actually really good. Now, there's no consistency though. Because of the no consistency

04:46and some of them not tasting right, I would give this a 6 out of 10. You know what? I'd

04:57give this a, I'm being generous, I'm going to give this a 5 out of 10. I'd have to eat

05:02more but I can't sit here and eat them all. I'll eat one more I guess. Yeah, this one's

05:09good too. So, two have been good, two have been bad. You know what? I'm going to give

05:22them a 6 out of 10. I'm really struggling with the rating here because the ones that

05:27are good are really good. The other ones are just an odd taste but they're not bad.

05:32It's kind of hard to describe. Have you ever had something that you eat and you like it

05:40and you sort of don't? You like it and you don't. You're like, I like it and I don't.

05:45I'll probably never eat this again. Then you all of a sudden have a craving for that weird

05:49thing and you go ahead and you buy it again and you eat it to satisfy your craving. That's

05:53what this sounds like to me. So, I give this a 6 out of 10 everyone. Great Canadian meats,
