00:15until they're invited to do so by the ruling monarch.
00:18Departing Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, a Conservative,
00:21visited Buckingham Palace earlier on Friday to resign.
00:24According to the Mirror, Starmer said in 2005
00:26that he used to propose the abolition of England's monarchy.
00:29But the head of that monarchy just placed him on the democratic equivalent of the throne.
