The Be A Cop In Your Hometown expo in Tamworth showcased some of the jobs police officers carry out, in a bid to attract more recruits to the force. Video prepared by Gareth Gardner

00:00Dogs are really good at knowing the circumstances and reading body language.

00:16There's always many avenues in the police force which I've found pretty cool, like you

00:19don't have to just stick to one thing the whole time, you can always like go into either

00:23dog unit or like tactical unit, things like that.

00:26So it never really gets boring as well, which I've found cool, and I think it's really great

00:29that they've been able to hold an event like this where you're able to just kind of interact

00:32with each unit and get a bit of a explore at what might offer after school.

00:47We're going to write notes, we're going to do sketches.

00:50I'm into sort of the technology side, so maybe the digital forensics or the cyber security
