Lisa Millar announces departure from ABC News Breakfast

ABC News Breakfast co-host Lisa Millar announces that she’ll leave her live TV role in August 2024.

00:00I wanted it a little cosy. I wanted you guys here because I do have a bit of news for you.

00:05After five years of sharing this couch with awesome people and people behind the scenes as well,

00:12it is time to say farewell. I'm going to be moving full-time over to the content division of the ABC

00:19where I'm going to be having more adventures with backroads and musterdogs. The musterdogs,

00:25it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. There's so much to do and exciting new projects,

00:29so that means it's goodbye. You've got me for a little while longer though.

00:34I just also, and there'll be plenty of times to say the thank yous, but Michael, thank you for

00:40helping me with the transition to breakfast television and for the rest of you gang,

00:45oh for all the laughs and everyone who's behind the scenes as well.
