Breaking at the Olympics

00:00The main moves of breaking are the top rock, a series of dance steps while standing before

00:12doing a move on the ground.

00:19The sixth step, where the legs move around while holding the body off the ground with

00:23the arms.

00:25The freeze, where a position is held for several seconds while balancing on the ground, and

00:33usually without touching the ground with the feet.

00:40And the flare, a rotational movement while balancing on the hands or the feet.

00:51The competition consists of a duel between two breakers, who dance one after the other

00:56to the music.

00:57There are no mandatory moves.

01:00Five judges mark the performances on six criteria, creativity, personality, technique, variety,
